The Aesthetic Journal is an independent trade publication covering aesthetic medicine in the United Kingdom. We report on what treatments do, what the evidence supports, what they cost, and how clinics are built and run.

Who publishes us

The Journal is published by Northbank Media, an independent publisher of specialist trade titles. We are not a clinic, we do not treat patients, and we do not sell treatments.

Who writes it

Articles are produced by the Journal's editorial desk. Where a piece covers clinical technique, we work from published literature, manufacturer instructions for use, and UK regulatory guidance, and we say plainly where evidence is thin. We are actively commissioning named clinical contributors, and pieces carrying a named clinician byline will state their registration and their relationship to us.

What we are not

Nothing published here is medical advice. Aesthetic procedures carry real risks, and those risks depend on your individual anatomy and medical history. Any treatment decision should be made in consultation with a qualified, registered practitioner who has examined you.
